I have always said that about the cities. Take a map of any.....ANY State with the demo's and repub's location and 75% of the State is red and blue where the cities are. Of course the cities are where the most people are especially the ones looking for handouts. Rural people are just not in that mindset. Welfare, Snap, public housing, Medicade and such are centered in the cities. All that stuff has to be on the bus route.
Basically, the Govt. is run by the cities. Us rural people are supposed to suck it up and accept it. Trump did get more of the black and Latino vote this time but the voters didn't vote down ballet the same. They voted Republican President but not necessarily Senate or House. WHY NOT??
The Dems just cant vote total Republican. The Republicans did get the Senate back and the House is still waiting to find out. A split branch of govt just means that nothing gets done. If someone voted for Trump but voted Democrat in the down ballet, what did they gain? Just another stagnant govt. for four years. Then the Dem's come out and vote Dem. again.
One has to have all three govt. bodies to get anything done. Let's hope we keep the House here as well.
